Yeah, I know right? You weren't ready for that one I bet. Yes there are a handful of mobs in the new zones which drop volatile water but they aren't particularly amazing farming spots. Your best bet is to actually pick up a pole and fish up the volatile water on your own.
Now instead of showing you a volatile mob farming spot, how about I show you the best place to fish them up?
It's Tol Barad, the northern peninsula.
There you'll find lots of wreckage which actually drops all kinds of items, not just volatile water. The items being dropped are trade goods of all types, so expect to find anything from cloth to ore in these ruined crates.
I bet you didn't know fishing was so good! Keep in mind that you must be 85 to enter tol barad, so make sure you level up your fishing along the way and try to make use of +fishing gloves, hats, poles and bait for faster skill ups.
Information is what makes you tons of gold in world of warcraft, and having constantly updated information on the newest farming spots, gold making strategies and auction house changes will make you a formidable auctioneer. If you're considering buying a gold guide to help yourself with farming and learning the auction house then consider one of the newer ones that wasn't written by a professional marketer who probably doesn't even play world of warcraft: cataclysm. Look for a guide written by someone with street cred and a large audience of loyal fans. Otherwise, you're going to end up finding a guide that barely scrapes the bottom of gold making in cataclysm.
